Charli XCX Brings Out ADELA for Surprise Performance of “Nicole Kidman” at LA Concert

Charli XCX delivered pure pop chaos and pure joy when she invited rising star ADELA onstage for a surprise joint performance of the viral track “Nicole Kidman” during her Los Angeles concert. The moment, captured in a fan-favorite clip shared by Pop Crave, shows the two artists owning the stage in high style and high energy, turning an already electric night into an unforgettable crossover highlight of the 2026 pop season.

Detailed Breakdown of the Performance Video

The nearly 50-second video opens with Charli XCX, rocking signature bright pink hair and a striking white fringe-and-feather ensemble complete with fluffy arm details and sky-high heels, already mid-performance. ADELA, dressed in a sleek black cut-out look with dramatic silhouette, joins her under the purple stage lights. The two move in sync across the stage, microphones in hand, delivering the playful, cinematic energy of “Nicole Kidman.”

They drop into coordinated squats, lean into each other, and feed off the roaring crowd. Charli takes center stage with confident strides and raised arms, her fringe outfit catching the spotlights as she works the front of the stage. ADELA matches her intensity, the pair exchanging glances and shared choreography that feels both rehearsed and spontaneous. The camera catches phones lighting up across the packed venue as fans film every second. Toward the end, Charli turns to the audience, singing with full power while the crowd sings along, creating that classic live-pop electricity.

The production is pure Charli: dark stage, dramatic lighting, and zero filler — just two artists locked into a moment that feels bigger than a standard guest appearance.

Why This Video Stands Out

This isn’t just another celebrity cameo. Charli XCX has built a reputation for curating surprise moments that feel authentic to the current pop landscape, and bringing out ADELA for “Nicole Kidman” hits at the perfect cultural intersection. The song itself has been gaining serious momentum, with chart projections placing it high on the Hot 100 even without heavy radio support. Pairing it with a live LA performance adds star power, visual flair, and social media fuel.

The chemistry is undeniable. Charli’s maximalist, brat-era energy meets ADELA’s sharp stage presence, creating a visual and sonic moment that feels fresh. Fans immediately connected the appearance to the expanding “Nicole Kidman cinematic universe” online, turning the clip into one of the night’s most shared moments. In an era where live collaborations can make or break a song’s trajectory, this surprise drop lands as both a celebration and a strategic boost.

Charli XCX continues to prove she’s one of the most exciting live performers in pop, and nights like this — complete with unexpected guests and viral-ready visuals — are exactly why.
